Vice Minister Yu Kangzhen meets his Maltese counterpart

Vice Minister Yu Kangzhen met the visiting Hon. Roderick Galdes MP, Parliamentary Secretary of the Ministry for Resources and Rural Affairs of the Republic of Malta and his delegation in Beijing on Dec.5th, 2013. The two sides exchanged views on promoting agricultural cooperation.
Yu spoke highly of the importance Malta attaches to bilateral agricultural cooperation. Yu also put forward proposals for future cooperation, including the implementation of bilateral agreement on agricultural cooperation in a down-to-earth manner, deeper cooperation in fisheries and livestock production, and expanding agricultural trade.
Galdes agreed on Yu''s proposals. He expressed Malta''s readiness to deepen cooperation in livestock production, fisheries and agricultural trade. He also congratulated MOA on successfully hosting the 11th China Agricultural Trade Fair.
